Anish Bhatt – a watch connoisseur, an expert on horology, an influencer with a following of 1.7 million, a successful businessman, a loving father and husband and just a cool, humble and down to earth guy. That is who Anish Bhatt is… 

 I welcomed Anish in my studio back in February. We had a few common friends, so I had reached out through them and invited him for an interview, and he politely accepted, being one of the biggest stars to date that I have interviewed, it was refreshingly easy to deal with his people – first of all what I loved about him is that he handled his affairs and the negotiating process himself, which is something I always do as well. There was no powerplays, no special requests – just a few simple questions in relation to the attire he was going to be photographed in and we set a date. I already knew that this was going to be a brilliant collaboration and interview. 

 Mr. Bhatt arrived in style as he always does… he rolled in on his Range Rover, I believe it was a ‘vogue’, with one member of his team to accompany him – upon his arrival I immediately  rushed out into my parking lot to welcome him personally, he was kind natured and incredibly polite on top of being very well groomed and taken care of – no wonder he is an icon of style for men. We entered our headquarters and we showed Mr. Bhatt the studio and the backdrop suggested in our proposal and discussed the interview before he headed into the changing rooms to get himself ready for the shoot – before I knew it my director had to notify me that we have been chatting for over an hour and are falling behind our schedule. The conversation was so engaging that we almost started filming on the spot, but we decided it is best to save for the camera.

 Anish started off with the photoshoot, which he directed himself, in fact. This is not a common occurrence at Lifestylepop, as I am quite detail oriented and have a certain vision for my productions, but in this case the shoot was not about a concept, it was about him and there was no better person to direct it, than Mr. Bhatt himself. In under an hour (and that is with 3 outfit changes) we sat down for our 2-hour interview.
