Cranberry napkin rings, perfectly matched to a gold serviette on top of Villeroy & Boch toys delight plates in a duo of shapes in red, white and green. The table effortlessly decorated with holiday memoire embroidered runners, illuminated by a Santa and reindeer shaped tea candle holder and lit snow globes, the obligatory Christmas mug from the above-mentioned toys delight or toys fantasy collection, filled with the hot holiday drink of choice for Christmas Day or tall silver candelabras and golden reindeer centerpiece flawlessly gracing the middle of the table, red glassware expertly positioned at the right corner of the place setting, complete with wine goblets and champagne flutes for Christmas Eve. The aesthetic must be thorough yet informal and warm. The playful and festive traditionally colored plates provide a Christmas fair ambiance which is later maintained by the other senses: the aroma and the flavor of the food meticulously presented in a table sharing manner, served in the Villeroy & Boch’s toys fantasy serveware.

Christmas Eve dinner consists of a scrumptiously delicious center stage Duck a l’orange accompanied by a vegetable souffle and caramelized carrots. A beef wellington pan-roasted to perfection served with sauteed spinach served under a delicious cranberry gravy, and of course a hard top ricotta cheese pie is a wonderful addition to any Christmas menu. A mixed berry salad which perfectly complements both the beef wellington and the savory pie. A seabass mille-feuille which is a lighter option for an evening meal served under a light cream sauce is ideally presented with au gratin or truffled risotto. Of course, no Christmas Eve dinner is complete without dessert. Oranges and tangerines are the focal point of this year’s Christmas menu, so the dessert of the night is liquor candied tangerine on a sponge cake with cream and cinnamon. It is accustom to drink red wine for Christmas, but this exquisite menu can be perfectly attended to by either a white bottle of Puilly Fuisse or a red Chateau Lynch-Bach, depending on your choice of meat or fish.
